Sparkly Gingerbread Spice Bites Recipe
Sparkly Spice Bites are a twist on the traditional gingersnap that are airy, soft and chewy, and covered with a sugary top!
The Perfect Holiday Season Cookie
Sparkly Spice Bites make a great holiday gingerbread cookie recipe for a few reasons.
They are very light, which makes them perfect for shipping to loved ones. They also hold up great in a sealed container. If you find the traditional ginger cookies a bit too strong tasting, or if you are just looking for a twist to the traditional gingersnap, try these out.
Holiday Cookies Great for Dunking in Milk
To get the sparkly, sugar top, simply dunk one end in milk, then sprinkle with sugar. The top will have a sweet crunch, while the insides will be airy and soft.
As you dip them, the bites soak up the milk, enhancing their soft and moist texture while harmonizing with the sweet and spiced flavors. It’s a comforting and satisfying experience!
The Perfect Spice Blend Holiday Cookie
These delectable treats encapsulate the essence of gingerbread, offering a blend of sweet molasses, brown sugar, and a medley of spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. The subtle hint of pepper adds a delightful kick to these bites, balancing the sweetness with a touch of warmth.
With the light and fluffy texture provided by baking soda and the binding power of eggs, these bites are a perfect combination of moist and flavorful. And to make them extra special, a dusting of coarse decorating sugar or granulated sugar adds a sparkling finishing touch, turning each bite into a festive and delightful indulgence, ideal for holiday gatherings and spreading the joy of the season.
