These Crescent Sausage Rolls can't get any easier. All you need is sausage and canned crescent rolls. Only two ingredients!
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz canned crescent rolls
- 1 lb package mild breakfast sausage
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350F.
- Roll out crescent roll dough out onto lightly floured surface. Press seams together.
- Spread sausage with a knife all over top of dough, leaving about 1/2-inch space free on the edges all around.
- Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal.
- Slice into 1/2-inch thickness and place on lightly greased baking sheet, about 1-inch apart to allow for expanding. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes, or until golden brown.
Eat them while they’re hot. Or cold. With jelly. Or not. Just eat them. They are delicious!

Wow, those look awesome! Definitely need to try those! 🙂
Summer, that is such a good idea! I totally wish I had the ingredients for that right now! I’m going to try it out soon.
Thanks!
YUM! I am going to have to make this.
Linda
Add some cheese and these would really be yummy I bet!
I’ll be making those!! Thanks SUmmer!
Thanks! I love Bisquick too! My family is pretty fussy but they love sausage rolls! I can’t wait to try this!!
This has my family’s two favorite food groups – Bread and sausage. Will be making soon.
and you say you don’t cook!!
Those sound wonderful!
That looks so easy! I think my family would love it, too.
That looks so yummy and easy!
Summer, thank you so much for the recipe. I just made the sausage rolls for dinner tonight, and my hubby and son loved them. You can check out some pics, my take on your recipe, and another recipe I used for dinner this evening at http://marriedtothemd.blogspot.com/.
Thanks again!
do you think that would work with that fake meatless stuff (GimmeLean)that looks the same as the sausage? Probably not as tasty though!
Looks delish:) We use a lot of Bisquick here as well since it’s dairy free. I can make all kinds of yummy treats for my daughter who has a dairy allergy.
That looks YUMMMMMY! I also do a similar recipe where I throw it all in a bowl with a few cups of shredded cheddar, roll into balls and back. MMmmmmm. Must go make some for lunch!

Love the pics and the recipe! Thanks so much for these. I am going to try them this weekend with the kids and hubby.
Guess what.. you can make your own bisquick.
Combine 4 cups all-purpose flour with 2 tbsp baking powder and 1.5 tsp salt in a large bowl.
Add in 1 cup shortening and mix with an electric mixer until completely blended with dry ingredients.
This will make about 6 cups of “bisquick” and can be used and stored just like the real thing.
It’s a great cheaper alternative and I think it tastes better good.
Thanks for the great recipe, I think my kids will like it, and I know my hubby will love it!

Those look WAAAAAY better than the cold cereal I had for breakfast this morning. Thanks for this simple idea! And by the way, I’m a huge Bisquick fan myself. I get the big ol’ box from Sam’s Club.
Looks awesome! How long did you cook/what temp? I am so not creative in the kitchen, I need to follow directions!
Cher-I think you just follow whatever the temp is on the Bisquick box.
those look really easy. I may have 2 give it a try.
Rebecca~ Thanks for that:) We use so much around here that a cheaper alternative is awesome!!
